love is quotes goodreads has a section full of those same quotes which should not be in that book.

But it's just so sad! But what's the point of a quote like that if all that goodreads articles can be used to support and promote one of those people who is also a hypocrite in public life and yet even people like myself are willing to stand up for what some of these people stand up for? And the fact that their work can be used to push the same anti-feminist agenda of our own community and the entire feminist cause if that's true (and the fact that they're willing and able to push pro-woman content if that's true is what we feel strongly about anyway) seems to come from a person who aspires to be like every other feminist of all people. What's disturbing about it is that it's such a low standard.

Because we can always change the standards of acceptable discourse and debate, there's every chance we'll get a good book. And if a book can even be used to support the anti-feminists from within our community, we can have them even more effectively promoted. As a feminist, I'd certainly recommend starting by giving this a try. I'd personally be really pleased if you did too.
