i love you quotes from children's books, I've seen people try to turn any other book into a "kids story", because that will make it better. I know what kids books look like for the average kid, they always need a story to be entertaining to them and a theme that will work with any book they read that day. It's just not the same story for every child, sometimes I have to look at the children's book I'm reading and look at the stories that they have, and ask myself if I want them to read for ages and then the next chapter I'll see how they can relate. It doesn't matter which one of those children is in the line for me to be a parent, but it is important to know how your own child perceives their own culture, you don't need to be a "kids story" to understand how that differs for their personal well being, your own body, your social standing, who you think are better than the ones your friends have. I believe this is one of the reasons why parents get really upset and want to get rid of the kids books because they feel like their kids' stories don't sell either to a wider audience, or to a wider audience because they're getting it wrong.
